Los Angeles County's housing-opportunity page still shows Grandview as Apply Now / Leasing Now from January 13, 2026. Because the operator's current page directly addresses today's leasing status, do not use the older County label as proof that a new public application window is open.
Why the official pages appear to conflict
The County page is a legitimate discovery source, but its Grandview status is an older dated opportunity signal. Abode's live property page is the operational source for the current leasing process and explicitly says the leasing period has closed.
This guide preserves both facts instead of silently choosing the more promotional label. A renter should recheck the property operator before submitting documents, paying money or relying on a copied application link.
What lottery processing means—and what it does not
Abode says that after the property has been leased, remaining applicants will be placed on a waitlist in order of their lottery number. That supports a lottery-processing / future-waitlist status for people already in the process; it does not create a new first-come public application period.
A lottery number, interview request or future waitlist position is not a guarantee of eligibility, a particular apartment, move-in date, subsidy or final approval. Follow only current instructions from Abode or another responsible program source.
General-affordable and supportive homes use different pathways
Abode describes 100 homes: 45 affordable family homes, 54 supportive homes referred through the Los Angeles County Coordinated Entry System, and one manager unit. The older leasing flyer likewise separates general-affordable lottery intake from supportive-housing referral.
Do not treat the closed general-affordable application period as a way to bypass CES referral rules for supportive housing, and do not pay a third party for a claimed guaranteed lottery or referral position.
