Open House Rentals Privacy Policy

Account/profile information, rental-search criteria, saved places, communications, listing and organization content, billing contact information, photos/documents you choose to upload, and other information submitted to requested features.

When permitted, OHR may process device information, approximate or precise location, camera, microphone and notification permissions to provide features such as nearby rentals, Life Radar, check-in, Property Lens, voice input and alerts.

Operate and secure OHR; provide searches, matches and alerts; maintain listings and provenance; support users; process authorized professional workflows; prevent fraud/abuse; and improve requested services.

Information may be disclosed to service providers, authorized housing participants when the user requests a relevant interaction, legal authorities when required, and other parties with the user's direction or consent. Private My Life information is not public merely because Genesis can use it for an authorized task.

OHR should retain information only for legitimate operational, legal, security and recordkeeping purposes. Account deletion and privacy requests remain subject to lawful retention exceptions.

California residents may have rights to know/access, correct and delete personal information and to opt out of sale or sharing where applicable, subject to statutory exceptions. OHR must not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.

OHR is not designed as a service for children to independently enter rental contracts. Production age-handling and parental-consent requirements must be reconciled before launch.

A dedicated privacy contact method and verifiable request process must be published before launch; personal home addresses should not be used as the public privacy contact.
