GenesisSafety, Reporting & Appeals
OHR users need a clear way to report rental scams, discrimination, impersonation, harassment, unsafe content, fraudulent organizations and Community Live abuse.
Reports should capture the relevant listing, account, message, post or event plus the user's reason and optional evidence.
OHR reporting is not emergency response. Immediate danger belongs with 911 or the appropriate emergency authority.
Route discrimination reports through the Fair Housing review path while preserving the source content and audit history.
Flag suspected payment scams, fake listings, unauthorized property claims, fake government/nonprofit accounts and credential abuse.
Where interaction exists, users should be able to stop unwanted contact without needing to publicly confront another account.
Material account/content enforcement should provide an appropriate review or appeal path consistent with safety and legal obligations.
A report does not itself establish wrongdoing; OHR should preserve evidence, apply governed review and distinguish allegations from verified findings.
